Attacker Pule Mmodi of the Golden Arrows is now inching ever-closer to joining PSL powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs.
Pule Mmodi, a promising attacking midfielder for Golden Arrows, is currently just seconds away from joining Kaizer Chiefs.
For more than a minute, Amakhosi have been pursuing Mmodi. The 29-year-old has a current contract option with Arrows, as The South African website previously reported.

Kaizer Chiefs continue to hold the first option on this transaction and are the first club that we have spoken to regarding Mmodi. They have demonstrated a sincere interest in the matter It's only right that we give him the first choice to go. When these talks fail to produce a result, we will begin examining other offers; however, for the time being, we must maintain the status quo, the source noted.
Siyethemba Sithebe, Zitha Kwinika, Ashley Du Preez, Dillan Solomons, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Lehlohonolo Matlou, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Yusuf Maart are among the most recent signings made by Arthur Zwane.
Amakhosi are still anticipated to recruit one or two central midfielders, a winger, and a striker.
