It comes from the devil and its roots in greed, anger, disrespect, revenge, lies and injustice just to name a few ,now the primary excuse that's given for the act of prostitution must be poverty ,particularly if the girl comes from a poverty stricken background.Young girls whose parents are incapable of taking good care of them and their siblings, have a tendency to enter prostitution in order to make ends meet and care for their households.

The main fact remains that Poverty is one reason why people go into prostitution but it is not an excuse. There are possible solutions to solve this

Christians,Muslims evangelists and imams should come to the rescue of these ladies by sharing the Good News of the Gospel. There are many ways of sharing the Gospels like Open air preaching, one-on-one evangelism,are just methods that Christians and Muslims can share the Gospel to prostitutes.

The church and mosques should rise and pray against the spirit of prostitution.Also The prostitutes themselves should pray for God’s intervention to help to break from this evil practice

The churches and mosques should also assist these young ladies to enroll in vocational training classes and learn a trade so as to build them with the mentality to start a small business or get menial jobs e.t.c?
