We all know that the COVD-19 is a threat to Educational system. The big question is; Should the Federal Government reduce the number of students in a class or should schools be prevented from opening admid COVID-19 Pandemic?

The Federal Government has put in place the social distancing rule for any Institution or Organization that is to start operation Admid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Considering the fact that many Primary, Secondary and Tertiary schools in Nigeria (Especially government schools) are filled with so many students, even more than a class was designed to accommodate; Is it wise to still adhere to the social distancing rule?

If this social distancing rule is to be put in place in Schools, it therefore means that government will have to;

. Build more buildings to accommodate the students as the number of students in a class will be limited to few people.

. Provide good and reliable water supply to schools.

. Provide disinfectants and sanitizers to schools.

. And also provide efficient temperature testing devices to schools.

If it isn't met, it will pose serious danger to the educational system as the children's future will be drawn near jeopardy.

Therefore, the Government of Nigeria and the whole world at large should please find a way to curb this menace of COVID-19 by finding a cure for the pandemic or ensuring safety to the Educational system by providing good and efficient means to hinder the spread of the virus. As such, the Educational system will be secured and not threatened.
