The Igalas are present in Kogi state of today lies the homeland of the Igala people .The land is situated in the eastern part of the river Niger and Benue confluence, and also extending across the Niger in Lokoja, Kogi state of Nigeria. Also they can be found in Nzam in Anambra , Ette in Enugu and Illushi/Inyele/Ifeku in Edo and Ebu in Delta state
