ITAN, which comprises different tribes and religions drawn from all parts of the country urged Yahaya Bello to join the Presidential race for 2023 after the association had x-rayed many aspiring candidates who showed interests either publicly or otherwise for the 2023 presidential race.

After the consultation and review of personalities of the association, the association concluded that Bello, who is a still youth is capable of taking Nigeria to the promised land.

According to the Secretary of the ITAN association, Jabir Maiturare stated that Yahaya Bello has always been expanding the scope of youth and women’s participation in governance, which makes ITAN stand for him.

1. He is Currently The Youngest Serving Governor In Nigeria

While presenting the award, the President of the association, Comrade Matthew Ochigbo disclosed that Yahaya Bello was selected among all the northern states and the North Central because of his outstanding performance on security in Kogi State. Governor Yahaya Bello was commended for dedicating his time to the issue of security in Kogi State. Yahaya Bello was also praised for his concerted effort towards fighting Coronavirus in the State.
