Due to his slow goal delivery he was sent back on loan to AC Milan. He returned in 2005/2006 season to net 13 goals which won him the Premier League trophy.

Mateja Kezman

He lacked playing time due to the consistency of fellow strikers like Didier Drugba and Eidur Gudjohnsson. He scored only seven goals in 40 appearances for Chelsea. A sour record right?

Khalid Boulahrouz

He won the Champions League, Europa League, and FA cup with Chelsea. Not bad to be considered a flop right?

Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea broke their transfer record to bring the Spaniard to their home. The Striker did not have a bad start, netting eight time and managing a hat-trick against Stoke City. He lost his footing from there and faced competition from Olivier Giroud who joined in January. He then ran away from the number nine jersey owing to honour his twins birth. He scored 16 goals in 47 appearances.
