The reason why people call her a heroine was that she recorded the shooting that took place in Lekki toll gate during the ENDSARs protests. Everything that happened that night was recorded and uploaded on her Instagram page.

After the incident she flew to Canada where she was granted Asylum in Canada. During the interview by the Canadians global news platform, CNN, she revealed how the killing started and how many lives were lost during the shooting. She aso said returning to Nigeria is what she want, but fears the worst could happened if she does.

Also she accused the Nigerian Government for not accepting what happened that night. The killing was order by the government of Lagos state as troops of soldiers stormed the scene. The government only claim that the military came with a peaceful motive and they only shot blank bullet to the air.

DJ Switch said that they have been twisting and turning Nigerians on the matter, they are not ready to revealed the truth .
