Many persons in the US and Nigerians are rooting for Trump to win because they believe that he has better and well laid out plans for the US than his opponent, and also because they believe he supports Christians largely because of the fact that he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

On the other hand, many persons are rooting for Joe Biden because they believe he is a less stern leader, and a more understanding leader than Trump which is one of the strong qualities of good leaders. Well, which ever side you're on, in a couple of days, we will get to know who will emerge as the next president of the United States of America.

However, as the results keep coming in, there have been a lot of suspense, and heart breaks especially for Trump and his supporters as they continue to lag behind Joe Biden at both the college and the popular votes. However, as at yesterday there were still glimmers of hope that Trump could bounce back because he was ahead of Biden in two major states which are Pennsylvania and Georgia but suddenly, and unexpectedly at the close of yesterday, Joe Biden took an unexpected lead in these two states that were Trump's stronghold where he was projected to win. But now, with 99% of the votes counted in these two states, it might be impossible for Trump to take back his lead to win the states.

The thing is, Just like in Nigeria where we have PDP and APC States, there are also Republican (Trump's party) and Democratic (Biden's party) states in the United States of America, and those two states, Georgia and Pennsylvania were projected as Republican states, and the Joe Biden's party (Democratic Party) has not won in those states for over 20 years.
This is why it was unexpected that that Joe Biden eventually took the lead in those states. At this point, the race looks very uncertain for Trump, and things are not looking good for him either as Biden Continues to lead him.

However, Trump has made several claims to undermine the whole process, and he has said that he will legally challenge the results of the election in court because he believes that he had a clear chance of winning until the election was allegedly hijacked by his opponents.
