Many players performed very well in matchday 4 but it id impossible to put all together in a team. However, below is my UEFA Champions League team of the week for matchday 4 lined up in a 4-4-2 formation.
The German goalkeeper was exceptional against Salzburg. He made 10 saves against the Austrian champion. He acted as a sweeper once and made 13 recoveries
The Colombia international continues to impress at the right-back position despite being a forward. He assisted both goals in Juventus win over Ferencvaros. He won 7 duels in the match, made 1 interception and 5 recoveries.
The Barcelona youngster was given his first profesional start after Gerard Pique suffered a long term injury against Atletico Madrid. He put in an assured performance against Dynamo Kyiv.
