October 20, 2020 better refferd to as 10/20/2020 Is a date that would always ring a bell in the heart of Nigerians. It is the day the cry against brutality was resisted with further brutality. It was a day that the army opened fire and shot at peaceful protesters who were only holding flags and reciting the country's national anthem.

It's been almost a month after the unfortunate incident, and just when it seems the occurrence is making it's way out of people's mind the Cable News Network (CNN) brought a new twist to the story after revealing the results if the comprehensive investigation carried out by them. They were able to track the bullet shell from the scene of the incident to it's origin and found out it was purchased by the federal government of Nigeria from Serbia back in 2005.

What this discovery means is that despite the denial by the government on the involvement of the military in the attack, they still owe Nigerians a detailed explanation on how bullets that were purchased by the government was used against peaceful protesters. Because legally the bullets are the properties of the government since they were purchased by the government on behalf of the military.

If your property is found at a crime scene that should make you a prime suspect. So denying the fact that the army carried out the act is in no way practical as far as accountability is concerned.
