We have heard of different people who was once wealthy then they later became broke, that’s why most footballers are mostly advised to stay away from spending extravagantly, so as to have a good life when the spotlight is no longer shining on them.

2. Sylvester Egbogie

He was also a member of the Nigerian team who won the All Africa Games that happened in 1973. He could use his legs to play football back then but now he can’t anymore because he cannot walk again so sad.

He had been battling with diabetes for a very long time, so his legs had to be amputated. There was a time Sylvester shook hands with Former Military Head of State General Gowon after he and his teammate won the All Africa Games in 1973.
