Manchester United have completed the signing of young defender Jack Kingdon.

The 15-year-old caught the eyes of scouts when featuring for the League Two club’s youth teams. He has been plying his trade for Morecambe’s Under-18 side but looks set to join United’s Under-16s.

Kingdon revealed the news on social media and is raring to get going at his new club.

“I’m very honoured and proud to be a part of this special club Man United,” he wrote on Twitter.
