According to the news that was shared yesterday, it was alleged that the nasarawa state police command trailed Cephas Illiya to his hideout in Nasarawa and successfully apprehended him after he killed his boss and fled the scene.

While Cephas Illiya was in police custody and was making confessions, he made it known that he killed his former boss on the 17th of November 2020, when he sneaked inside his room with a log of wood late in the night and smashed it on his head while he was still sleeping.

According to news, it was made known that his former boss, who was just killed happens to be the Deputy Chief Auditor in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

According to what the spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Police Command, ASP Ramham Nansel said, he made it known that Cephas killed his former boss while he was still sleeping inside his room on the 17th, but the body of the deceased was later discovered on the 19th of November.

He further said that when the hideout of Cephas was searched by police operatives, they recovered from properties of the deceased he stole after he murdered him.
