The mishap which happened in Borno state saw many Nigerians calling for the recruitment of more soldiers and an increase in the salaries of Nigerian forces. At least 43 farmers were killed in a deadly assault in Zabarmari, Borno on Saturday by suspected Boko Haram terrorists. This incident has left many Nigerians speechless. Many Nigerians are beginning to pray and sympathize with the families of those farmers that lost their lives. As it stands, the deadly attack by insurgents left many mothers and fathers childless. It also left many women and children without husbands and fathers respectively.
As it stands, many politicians have continued to sympathize with the families that lost their loved ones. Although this has been the case for weeks now. The Nigerian Army has however reacted to the situation. This reaction came after Major General EJ Enenche spoke to Channels tv concerning the situation. General Enenche expressed that the soldiers fighting the insurgency lacks adequate information. He maintained that information cannot be forced out of the villagers. He however asked the locals to provide the soldiers with adequate information to help them fight the insurgent.
