Former executive chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Mr Gbolagade Busari is dead.

The former sports journalist was reported dead this morning (Monday) at University College hospital (UCH).

He was formerly a Sports Editor with Sketch Newspapers and he’s expected to be buried today according to Muslim rites.

He died at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

It was gathered that he would be buried later today.

Busari had also served as Special Adviser to former Governor, late Abiola Ajimobi.

Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN) Oyo State chapter, Comrade Adeniyi Alebiosu, confirmed the death of the deceased.

Alebiosu said, “It is sad and painful to announce the death of former Executive Chairman, Shooting Stars Sports Club, Gbolagade Busari.

“He died early this morning at UCH, and will be buried today, according to Muslim rites.

Borno Massacre: Islamic cleric ‘Imam of Peace’ says Buhari must be jailed for treason

Popular Iranian-born Australia-based Islamic cleric, Mohammad Tawhidi a.k.a Imam of Peace, has reacted to the Borno Massacre.

The deadly Boko Haram Terrorist group reportedly beheaded 43 farmers in Zambarmari, a town in Borno State.

The tragic incident happened on Saturday at Koshebe village in Mafa Local Government Area, while the farmers where working in a rice field. However, the victims reportedly lives in Zabarmari, a farming community in Jere Local Government Area of the state.

A resident told the Governor Zulum during his visit that some farmers are still missing after the massacre.

“Your Excellency, as you have seen here, 43 corpses were buried, but others have not been retrieved from the scene of the incident. Nobody can tell you the exact number of people killed. Some of the victims are still missing” the resident said.

Reacting to the incident, Imam of Peace called for President Buhari’s jail.
