The game started well for Nigeria through a 4 minute goal from Everton star Alex Iwobi, then a 21 minute strike from Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Iwobi struke again six minutes later before Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze made it a riot after he rubbised the defense of his opponent. Sierra Leone pulled one back just before half time before starting a comeback with just twenty minutes left, A. Kamara scored their second goal, M. Bundu grab the third in the 80th minutes, eight minutes later A. Kamara seal a point for the visiting team and his second goal of the night.

With Japan two goals up against Belgium in the knock out states of the world cup, Belgium was up for another disappointing run in World Cup tournament, things turned around for Belgium as they leveled the match through Vertonghen and Fellaini but wasn't enough as Chadli grab the winning goal at last minute of added time. The win made Belgium the first team to turned a 2-0 deficit into victory in a World Cup round since Portugal in 1966.

The 2003 U-17 World Cup saw one of the biggest comeback, with Portugal taking a five goals lead all through 70 minutes there was no probability of a come back, that was what many thoughts but somehow the African team managed to score a whopping five goals to earn a 5-5 tie.
