Now, looking at Ms Kedike Crooner, the ever smiling Chidinma Ekile, she looks like a young lady who lives her best life, waking from her rose bed every morning. In a 2010 Vanguard interview after winning the 3rd edition of Project Fame West Africa, the question to Chidinma was: "Why does it seem like she was the only one to not emotionally perform an emotional song as she was then in?

She answered that when she was raised by a disciplinary dad, she learned to be tough. She characterized her childhood as Hell that only hardened her. In her words "I went through hell, but it just strengthens me so that little things don't move me now.

She also spoke about how many people were constantly teasing and calling her names during her high school day since she was the smallest class. She said they talked always about her, and she even called her "Small" and she tightened overtime.

The winners took her to the forefront and afterwards she soared high. In 2012 she won the Best Female West Africa Act Kora Award and released a hit song called "Kedike" which translates to Heartbeat.

Chidinma said there were not many things concerning her before the fame of the project, but that she was blind at birth, still, God came through for her, which many people still don't know.

She admitted that she was blind for months when she was born in 1991 in an interview with Guardian. This interview was an appreciation to her mother after she published a song titled "Martha" for what she's done (Chidinma)

She wrote about the instagram song and reassured her mother that she wasn't giving up on it, it was more of a song of gratitude. She announced she was born and blind at birth licensed, never abandoned by her mother. Her mother held her every night, cried and prayed to God for a miracle that looked at her (Chidinma)

She announced that her birth was not blind, but God answered her mom's prayer and came to them and miraculously got the sight and complete healing from other conditions of health.

In her interview with Guardian, she also said that the miracle is the reason why through her Mma Charity Organization, she dedicates her money to support visually disabled people.
