1 Year After Boko Haram Forcefully Converted Her To Islam, See Some Photos Of Leah Sharibu On Hijab

EducationalGist 1d

I can proudly say that Muslims are not evil people and they are not terrorists. Infact, Islam is a religious that preach peace and harmony within one another. It's just that in this contemporary world, there has been a lot of misinterpretation of the Holy Qur'an. Most people are now doing things with the little understanding that they have about things around them. Asking people to join Islam forcefully wasn't the way of Allah. It's a thing that people with no or little understanding about Islam brought up. We can even call it a fallacy.

Leah Sharibu who was among those Dapchi Goverment Secondary School Girls that were allegedly kidnapped by Boko Haram some years back. Even though the other girls were released, Leah Sharibu wasn't released all because she refused to denounce her religion which was Christianity into Islam. They vowed not to release her for life all because she didn't coperate just like the other girls. And for the rest of her life, they said she'd dance to the best of tortures and slavery.

It's now 1 year since she was adopted, only God knows what she's passing through right now. Later after the adoption, some reports came up that she was married to one of the top leaders of the sect. After some months, the pictures of the baby boy which she allegedly gave birth to was sent online by the leaders of the sect.

The Nigerian Army and the goverment has tried a lot of means to make sure she was released from captivity, a lot of negotiations were also made, but all were to no avail.

She wasn't release all because she failed to change from Christianity to Islam.

So bad, it's a year after, I personally think she might have agreed to change her religion since the army and the goverment has tried their possible best to make sure she was released.

When she was adopted, she was a little girl with no or little understanding of what the Boko Haram were trying to do. Now she's been forced into the motherwood.

Even though we can't still ascertain the true story behind the birth of her child, but trusted news cables like Saharareporters and Vanguard news reported the incident.

My greatest fear is that, when will Leah Sharibu be released from the hand of the Boko Haram? When will the goverment reach an agreement with Shekau and his people? When will we celebrate the end of Boko Haram in Nigeria?

When will her parents see her beautiful face? When will the northern part of Nigeria be peaceful again? My brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, when?
