In 2018, Paul Pogba got married to (Maria Zulay Salaues), who is a Bolivian model. Maria studied Business Administration at the University of Bolivia, before she moved to the United States to pursue modelling as a full-time career. Maria was first known as a model, but she became a lot more famous when she started dating, and eventually got married to Paul Pogba.

Maria Zulay, who comes from a christian family, and had a christian upbringing is believed to be Muslim. It is assumed it was after her marriage with Paul Pogba that she converted to Islam. As a model, she was working with a company in Miami and had to stay there. She however made regular trips to Manchester to visit the Paul Pogba before the two eventually got married.
