Nigerian popular Actress Moyo Lawal, born in Badagry town in Lagos state, Nigeria, is a Nollywood actress. She won the award "Revelation of the year" at Best of Nollywood Awards in 2012. Moyo Lawal grew up in Badagry town where she did primary, secondary, and tertiary education in Nigeria. She Obtained her BSc degree in Creative arts from the University of Lagos.

Moyo Lawal began acting in small play productions when she had been convinced to venture into acting by a good and close friend of hers whilst in school. She took part in the Next Movie Star Nigerian TV reality show but was unsuccessful in it. The Nigerian Actress debuted her first professional acting career in the TV series titled "Shallow Waters" of which she played the role of Chioma in the TV series. Moyo Lawal's career became more pronounced when she was able to secure for herself a movie role in an award-winning TV series titled Tinsel where she played the notable role of a character named Chinny.

The Nollywood Yoruba actress is also well known for her role as Chinny in the M-Net soap opera, Tinsel. She has worked with prominent and big entertainment actors and actresses that has helped her develop and achieve her dream of being an entertainer. The gorgeous and fearless damsel has definitely paved a successful path for herself in the world of entertainment, as she has then amassed lots of fans and followers on various social media platforms having over 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

The Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, once stated that she would be at least a million dollars richer if the Nigerian film industry had better structures in place. The Tinsel-star said this when she shared a picture of herself making what looks like ‘amala’ on Instagram.
She said;
“It just reoccurred to me that, I have been working myself off since before I even became an adult, doing honest work (if not that Nollywood) is the way it is, somebody will have millions of dollars by now"
