Parents of runaway police officer Caroline Chemutai Kangogo, who detectives are hunting down for allegedly killing two men, have pleaded with their daughter to surrender to the authorities.
Speaking during an interview with KTN News on Wednesday, July 7, his father Barnaba Kipkoech Korir said they condole with the families of the murdered police officer John Ongweno and Peter Ndwiga Njiru.

“We are asking her wherever she is to surrender to police because she is an officer who knows what the law dictates. So it is important that she gets out of her hiding and surrenders to police,” the father added.
Kipkoech Korir said it remains a mystery to him how his daughter was caught up in the act.
“She was brought up as a normal child; we are still shocked by the sudden turn of events. We received the news with great grief, and we want to extend our message of comfort to the families of the slain men,” Kibor said.
The father of eight wished his daughter could talk to someone if something was bothering her.
On her part, her mother, Leah Kangogo, said her daughter Kangogo, her firstborn, was a well-mannered child, and she was shocked by the news of her killings.
“She should not have killed the two people however much she was angered. She should have consulted us on any issue that is disturbing her. She is our firstborn child, and I don’t know what the problem was that she had to kill the two. I have been shocked that she is a murderer,” the mother said.Give Her Space to Surrender, Cliff Ombeta Defends Woman Accused of Killing Nakuru Cop, Juja Man
The family members have converged for a prayer session at their homestead following the horrific acts of their daughter.
