With less than 12 months remaining before next year's general elections, President Kenyatta has been very vocal on the need to ensure the country is united before going into the polls. He has been very busy engaging other regional leaders to try and bring Kenyans together.
For the past one month, Uhuru has met several leaders including Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Gideon Moi. He reportedly asked the leaders to furnish him with potential nominees as he looks to reshuffle his cabinet.
It has now emerged that President Kenyatta has settled on removing six cabinet secretaries whom will be replaced by new ones. According to an anonymous source from Statehouse who spoke to a local daily, President Kenyatta will be making the announcement in the next few days.
