The past few hours have not been the best for Tanzania as a country after the death of their President John Pombe Magufuli. Magufuli passed away on Wednesday evening after weeks of speculation about his health.

With Magufuli gone, his Deputy Mama Samia Suluhu is set to take over as the next president according to the country's constitution. The Vice President is set to be Sworn in today at Daresalam at exactly 10 am.  View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

Samia will become the first-ever female president in the East Africa region. She is expected to chair all burial arrangements for the late President as they look to give him fine goodbye.

With Magufuli gone, Mama Suluhu will be tasked with leading Tanzania to achieve the best as Magufuli intended. Mama Samia has been a politician since she left school thus she has the right experience to lead Tanzania to greater heights.  View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
