According to President Uhuru, he has said that he should stop being accused of working on a presidential project for Kenyans making it clear that those claiming that he is pushing Raila Odinga's Presidency as his project are spreading lies and propaganda not aware of what is in mind. The Head of State who is neary his exit has said that he is not rooting for anyone in the political scene but will vote and even convince people to support those who will pay attention to him.
However, the President has made clear that what his critics should know is that time had come when everyone is free to go campaigning for his bid stating that the person he will cast his vote to is a leader who he can trust and who is ready to listen to him.
"This is a marathon. I don’t have a (political) project, but I will see where to put my vote for someone I trust and if there are one or two people who will listen to me, I will put across my request," the President has said.
