The DCI has however come up with a new strategy as the manhunt to arrest Kangogo enters the second week. The DCI has mobilized the elite units in the ongoing search for Carol Kangogo.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EA new multi-agency team has now been assigned the duty to search Corporal Kangogo. The team comprises military, police as well as officers from the DCI.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe female police officer Carol Kangogo has been on the run following the killing of two men including her fellow male police officer. The officer is wanted since she is the main suspect in the two murder incidents.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe new strategies employed by the security agencies include an intensified surveillance in Kiambu County and along the major roads. This will include a security surveillance along the Nairobi - Nakuru highway, Nakuru - Eldoret highway as well as along the Nairobi - Mombasa highway among other major highways.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAdditionally the security agencies have employed a new tactic and have intensified surveillance of the means of communication. Another new strategy that the security team will use in search of the murder suspect Caroline Kangogo is the surveillance in the hotels.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EOne senior detective in the DCI's Special Service Unit told the Nation that they have intensified the search mission and the search strategies in order to arrest the fugitive police officer. He revealed that a special unit has been deployed to carry out special mission to arrest Kangogo.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe team will search all the places where Kangogo could possibly be hiding including at the lodges. However, the hope to have the officer arrested has been renewed following new strategies that have been put in place. The strategies have helped to step up the manhunt for Caroline Kangogo.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EMr Sunguti has however refuted claims that the fugitive police officer Caroline Kangogo had been spotted in Nakuru and Eldoret as it has been circulating in the social media and other platforms.\u003C\u002Fp\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Nakuru County Criminal Investigation Officer Mr Sunguti added that it is very crucial for Kangogo to surrender adding that she will soon be categorized as an extremist criminal if she does not surrender.
