With less than two years remaining before the 2022 general elections, The Deputy President has continued to express his willingness to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta when his term comes to an end in 2022. According to Ruto, the race for the top prize in 2022 won't be easy for him.

Mr. Ruto has no doubt been a man in trouble lately. He even at one point declared himself a spectator within his own government. The goodwill between President Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has not settled well with Ruto who has now been forced to take a peripheral role within his own government.  View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

According to Ruto his troubles and tribulations were being cooked from a very small kitchen that he intended to destroy forever. Contrary to the thinking of many people, Ruto claims he was not afraid of neither Raila nor Uhuru. According to him, His biggest fear lies with Raphael Tuju and David Muradhe.

According to Ruto, he was afraid of the two leaders because the two had not been elected into their positions and thus had nothing to lose in the eyes of the electorate. He referred to them as busybodies whose sole intention is to con the party before leaving it for dead. Ruto also said he was afraid that the two had highjarked the party into participating in unwarranted decisions that have left many Kenyans disappointed with the Jubilee party.  View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

Ruto also revealed that he was working very hard to protect his beloved Jubilee party from total extinction. He went ahead and warned Tuju and Murathe that their time was coming and that they will be required to pay for all of the physical, financial, and emotional damage they have caused during their time at the party.  View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

Ruto was speaking during a live interview on Weru TV last night.
