Magoha Hints On What Will Happen To KNEC Exams Incase Of A Runoff As He Sets Half Term Dates.

Education cabinet secretary professor George Magoha on Sunday announced the dates for half term break which will coincide with the upcoming general election.

Magoha said half term break will begin on august 6 and end on august 15 whereby all learners are Expected to report back to school to resume their studies.

He was however quick to add that should there he a rerun after the general election, then all the stakeholders will have to sit down and decide on whether it will be prudent to go on with the scheduled national examinations.

The Professor further advised principals to utilize this time of half term to reach out to parents on matters school fees instead of waiting to send students home after resumption.

The form four students will sitting for their exams in December this years after Being in school for only 29 weeks following the ministry's decision to reduce term limits after COVID-19.

The normal school calendar however is set to resume next year January when there will be a double intake.
