After a letter released to the media disclosure how police officers providing DP Ruto with Security has been oppressed while in their duty.

Deputy President William Ruto through his Communications Secretary David Mugonyi has reacted rubbishing the report that officers guarding DP Ruto are being starved, disclosing the only challenges the Juniors are facing.

According to David Mugonyi, he has said that the issue of Deputy President William Ruto not providing the Police Officers with a meal is untrue disclosing the main problem which the officers are encountering despite providing the DP with security is the failure for Deputy President William Ruto not paying the officers their allowances in time

"We have provided them with food. The only complaint I am aware of delays to pay their allowances. The Officers are under the Office of the Inspector General of Police. Their welfare is catered for by the office. Even the GSU were under the IG," Deputy President William Ruto Communications Secretary has said.

According to the letter shared yesterday on claims that the Officers guarding DP Ruto offices and private residences were being starved after his failure to consistently provide them with food rations or meal allowances to enable them to discharge their mandate effectively.
