Embattled Nairobi county governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has reacted to reports that the president fired a warning to him to stay away from Nairobi Metropolitan Service NMS head Maj Gen Mohammed Badi.
In People's Daily Publication on 13th of July it was alleged that president Uhuru Kenyatta during his visit to issue title deeds in Nairobi lectured the Nairobi governor to stop meddling with Gen Badi and leave him do his work in Nairobi.
Sonko in his angry reply told off the publication saying it was mere propaganda being propagated by desperate media houses.He rubbished the reports saying the president had instead urged them to join hands and work together for the betterment of Nairobi residents.

"Seems some media houses are becoming so desperate and gutter press day by day.The President told us to work together for the betterment of the great people of Nairobi. So wewe Errick Wainaina wa people daily wacha USHENZI TAKATAKA GASIA WEWE kama hii story yako umeandika. Unafaa viboko mbili ya matako," angry Sonko fumed.
He promised to put his difference aside and work with NMS boss Maj Badi to ensure service delivery in Nairobi area is enhanced.
"We shall keep our differences aside as advised by the Head of state to ensure service delivery in Nairobi moves to the next level," he added.
