Every person in this world has his or her problems that cannot be explained to anyone, but remain within with no solution to solve them. Since the beginning of Covid 19 pandemic, life has become difficult and many people have lost their jobs leaving them with nothing to feed their families with.
This is why many people these days have decided to venture into illegal acts like stealing, robbery with violence and other many shameful acts for their survival. A middle aged man was almost beaten to pulp by mourners in a funeral at Gatitu after attemping to steal money from the offering bag.
It is allegedly said that the man approached the offering bag pretending to put his offering, but then fetched some amount from the offering bag.

This act therefore angered the mourners who almost beat him to pulp. The main reason why the man decided to steal from the offering bag is still not known.
