The death of Mr. Paul Mulei now brings total number of principals who have succumbed to Covid-19 to 17. With increasing number of teachers who are succumbing to the deadly virus, government should come up with a way of protecting teachers as we approach fully Reopening of schools in January 2021.
Schools are expected to fully Reopen on January 4, 2021. Government through ministry of health should put in place appropriate measure to protect teachers and students against covid-19. They should put in place measures that will enhance safety of both learners and teachers to prevent more fatalities in schools.
