Linah Jebii Kilimo is a Kenyan Politician who was born in October, 1963. Linah served as the Marakwet East Member of Parliament for two terms, that is from 2002 - 2012, she contested for the seat in 2017 and lost to Kangogo Bowen. She was the first woman to be elected to parliament in the pastrolist community, that alone speaks volumes on what Kilimo is all about.

When she was asked about her memories of the former president Mwai Kibaki, Linah said that, Kibaki was like a father that she never had for he didn't take her as a naive politician as she was in her entry to politics in 2002, he rather gave her a chance to prosper under his wings. She also served as an Assistant Minister for Cooperative Development in Kibaki's Government between 2008 and 2013.

Since her days in the parliament her mission has never changed, she will always be remembered for her fight against FGM. Coming from a community that cherishes the female circumcision he whole heart was poured towards the fight.
As an anti- FGM crusader, she pushed an Anti- FGM Bill in 2011 in parliament. She has radically worked with NGOs and government towards the same effect.

Linah is currently working with the government as Chief Administrative Secretary, in the ministry of agriculture. On her appointment, she had this to say.
“I wish to sincerely thank H.E Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing me the CAS Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries & Cooperatives. I will serve with humility and dedication,” said Kilimo.
