His excellency the president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta accompanied by the O.D.M. leader Hon. Raila Odinga paid a visit to Kisumu to sell their agenda on the B.B.I. Some of the projects that His excellency inspected included the Sh3 billion refurbished Kisumu port, the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Mamboleo ASK Grounds and the ongoing construction of Uhuru Business Park.

During the visit, one occasion really trended was when his Excellency jokingly said that he would want a second wife from the lake side if his wife the first lady would allow him to. These words were taken lightly by the residence as there all laughed together.

Recently Nairobi governor Mr Sonko has not been seeing eye to eye with the president for obvious reasons since the president supports Nairobi Metropolitan Services leader, chief Major General Mohamed Abdalla Badi.
