- Although, no school teach sheng but it is getting more trendy in the new generation. Its words are more fishy than you think. Most of the aged people actually don't support sheng since they know that it spoils their children completely.
- Actually when you are on your way to somewhere, you might hear sheng words here and there being spoken mostly by youths in the streets of Nairobi.
- The big issue here is, sheng words are really hard to comprehend as they require young people to use them frequently. Also you should be aware that they keep on varying as time goes.

- The following are sheng words and their meanings;
1. "Mbogi"
- This word is highly popular. It means a group of friends or team of people who are age mets.
2. "Rieng"
- Also its synoname is "Mutaratara". Actually, its meaning is what is the plan. It is mostly used almost everywhere.
3. "Ngeus"
- It means a girl. It is used by many boys referring to a certain girl. But it sounds strange right?
4. "Nguna"
- This word mostly describes a woman. This means that she should at least have more than twenty years.

5. "Masanse"
- The word is commonly used. It actually means a group of police officers. If you may hear this word again somewhere don't be speechless since you have known its meaning.
6. "Kiruma"
- Guess what, this word means food. It was invented by some Kikuyu guys.
7. "Githaa"
- However, we are used to "what is the time" but according to this word it means time. That is why it is used to ask about time.
8. "Rada"
- It also means what is the next plan or step. But some times, this word can be used in greetings.
9. "Kemba"
- It really means greetings. For example in sheng; "Acha nikembe hawa wasee". In English it means; Let me greet these guys.
10. "Dungia"
- Widely used in the country in some streets including the Nairobi streets. It means to make a call with someone. -
