A man has narrated how he fell in love with his primary school girlfriend and married her. Narrating his love journey on Thriving Couple KE Facebook page, he reminisced how he used to go to school every morning with his then primary school girlfriend.

They would play together in school and one day during break time, he opened up his heart to his then primary school sweetheart. He told her that he had a feeling that they will become husband and wife in the near future.

As a young girl, she probably didn’t understand what he meant. They kept in touch even after they became adults and in 2013, they settled down as husband and wife.

They started life in a tiny bedsitter in 2013 and 7 years later, their marriage is still going strong.

"Met her in primary school, to be specific (Tumaini Primary School, P.O Box 140 Ol,Kalou). We really liked each other, played together & we would wait on each in the morning just to go to school together, I remember one day on break time i told her in kikuyu(Wee Nìngakùhikia).meaning, "I will marry you one day" and fast forward #Boom!! 30th March 2013 is the day i experienced having a woman in my small bedsitter house and the following morning she is not showing any sign of leaving.Every man knows this ka feeling in the first day of marriage, the only questions you ask yourself and only answer yourself. and the love grew, the experience became sweeter up-to-date. #lovewins #thrivingcouples #marriageworks", the man narrated his love journey on Thriving Couple KE Facebook page.
