Lexie and Bryan had the world convinced that their parents disowned them after they decided to turn their “sibling” bond into a love affair.

The couple admitted they have known each other for barely a year.
During a sit down with TUKO.co.ke’s Lynn Ngugi, the two decided to come clean and admit that it was all a rouse meant to promote a show they had in the works.
But why use a sensitive topic? That is the question that lingers in a lot of people’s minds.
“People misinterpreted the whole thing. If they gave us a chance to air the show then they would understand we were trying to create awareness,” Bryan said with a straight face.
At first, the two insisted that viewers were on the wrong for misreading their viral TikTok video.
But finally, both of them admitted they had lied just to clout chase and were sorry for how their actions affected their parents and people around them.

They had earlier claimed that their parents had not spoken to them in years.
“To our parents and to Kenyans, we are sorry. We should not have lied about being twins,” the two said.
Lexie and Bryan also admitted that they have known each other for less than a year and have not been together for as long as they had previously claimed.
The pair further revealed they were chasing the thrill behind fame and got caught up in the excitement.
The two also apologised for involving someone's innocent child in the whole thirst for popularity.
