Like I have been saying in some of my articles, football is more than just a game, its more, more beyond that. It brings up Unity and Friendship among other things.
Today, we are going to take an insight into Ten football friendships that grow to become a stronger and an exemplary one.
Messi 33, and Suarez 33, shares a strong bond between themselves. Despite Suarez clearing out his locker at the Camp Nou, this friendship is still intact and will remain untouchable.
This Manchester United duo both came from the club's academy and got their ways into the elite squad. The friendship sees Lingard 28, 5 years older than Rashford 23.
According to reports, Marcelo is the only Real Madrid player that Ronaldo kept contact with after leaving the club. Ronaldo is 35 while Marcelo is 32.
These friends had an instant connection from their first meeting after Sarah arrived at Liverpool in 2017. M. Salah is 28 years old whole Lovren is 31.
Since after Alli was signed from Milton Keynes Dons in 2015, and Dier from Sporting Lisbon, the duo quickly formed a strong friendship that exists till today. Alli is 24 while Dier is 26.
These two superstars were virtually inseparable, they hang out, play basketball and even share private jets together before Lukaku left Man United for Inter Milan. Both looked for a move out of United, with Pogba remaining in the club and Lukaku ending up at Inter Milan. Both are currently 27 years old.
These two forwards have formed a partnership both on-and-off the pitch at Arsenal since after Aubameyang joined in January 2018. Auba is 31 while Lacazette is 29 years old.
The two Brazilians formed a strong bond during Coutinho's short stay at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp. Firmino once regarded him as “an exceptional guy – one of the best friends football has given me.” Firmino is now 29 years while Coutinho is 28.
Ozil arrived at Arsenal in 2017, and since then, the two stars and their wives have become best friends. Both couples attended each other's wedding in 2019. Kolasinac is now 27 while Ozil is 31.
Rice and Mount were childhood mates since from Chelsea's academy at the age of seven. Mount is still playing for Chelsea while Rice is playing for West Ham and both are 21 years old.
