It’s very important to spend some quality time together before you retire to sleep.
The following routine exercise will cure your “you don’t have time for me.”
1. Brush your teeth.
When was the last time you two smooched and cuddled before drifting to sleep? This is very relaxing and evokes positive emotions.
In fact Psychologists confirm that going through the above routinely while falling asleep, trouble will be out of bounds in your relationship.
Also remember to note, the following will be successful if the both of you are smelling nice.
2. Rubbing.

5. Bedtime schedule/ Timetable
Happy are those who brush their teeth together and go to bed at the same time. It helps them maintain the warmth and intimacy of their relationship.

Observe “the rule of 2”. You need to have that space for the two of you to maintain your affection.
Try and let your kids join you in bed only when they are experiencing nightmare.
At all costs avoid pets in your bed. Besides intimacy, research from University of Kansas revealed that 63% of people who sleep with their pets don’t get enough sleep.
Pets can’t sleep through the night and their fidgeting will often disturbs your sleep.
7. NO to boozing before bed.
As much as a glass of wine before going to bed would create a romantic atmosphere, keep in mind that while your body is digesting alcohol, the restorative period of your sleep becomes shorter.
That will make you feel tired, distracted, and easily annoyed when you wake up in the morning. Otherwise known as a hangover.
We don’t want to forget heavy snoring and insomnia issues from cigarettes.
8. Leave your Laptop in the study room.
Try to forget about everything that happened that day, and leave all your problems and concerns outside the bedroom door.
It’s so much better to spend that time together and to have some rest so you can be productive at work the following day.
9. Switch off your phone.

Using a phone at night suppresses the emotional intimacy and bonding.
Go easy with that phone by turning it off, or put it away from 9 p.m.
