TheHuduma Namba is conducted by the National intergrated identify management system NIIMS and involves collecting of biometric data after which the systes generates a unique number Huduma namba which will enable one to access various services.

In this regard, once can face imprisonment if up to 5 years for transacting without Huduma namba card, failure to register a birth within 90 days attracts a penalties of up one million shillings or being prisoned for 1 year while fails to register a date within thirty days draws a fine up to 2 million or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
