A city man is not happy after five months in marriage.
The young man has taken to social media to warn men about dating slay queens.
According to this man, he married a slay queen, who pretended to be a wife material only for her to change afterwards.
He says he’s tired of the wife and wants to divorce her.
“This is a new month and I can’t take it anymore. I married a Slay queen who pretended to be a good woman for one year. My marriage is just 5 months and I am already seeing her Jezebel side. Most women are deceptive.. she deceived me because I met her in church. Now I will divorce her like I met her in Club.. I can’t stay in the same roof with a Jezebel I am not Ahab. Guys pls not all girls you meet in church are wives… pray to God to show you the jezebel side because women are very deceptive and only God can reveal that other side,” he wrote in part.
In the second part he added:
“My wife is a shadow of herself, she is not the woman I did courtship with. It is like when you order for an iPhone and you get Tecno. My wife used to cook for me during courtship, I never knew she was using YouTube but now she insists cooking is not for her that I should get a maid because she is tired of using her megebite to access YouTube. Same woman who was always in church during our courtship now sleeps during Sunday service hours.. I am not a man who rants but this one has reached the level of ranting.
Was she pretending all along? I ordered for Ruth but I got a Jezebel..God hates divorce but will understand when I divorce her because I cannot kill myself. For the peeps who will tell me to pray and work things out, may you marry a slayer too, and feel the fire. Her mother and pastor have talked to her but nothing has changed. You cant change a slayer into wife. Does she need counselling?
Jezebel is described in the Book of Kings (1 Kings 16:31) as a queen who was the daughter of Ithobaal I of Sidon and the wife of Ahab, King of Israel. In the biblical story, Jezebel became associated with false prophets. In some interpretations, her dressing in finery and putting on makeup led to the association of the use of cosmetics with “painted women” or prostitutes.
