When political parties are in power, they are believed to be in bed with the Electoral Commission, but once they lose their grip on power the table over turns. The Electoral Commission now becomes their arch enemy.

How did the removal of Charlotte Osei bring confidence, sanity and trust in the electoral process, if you look at what is currently happening?

It is healthy to put some pressure on the EC to do their work well, but we must also give the commission the necessary space to do their work. The main aim is to assist the commission to conduct credible elections.

Instead of calling for the dismissal of Electoral Commissioners we should rather help them in their position. In any case those calling for her removal must not forget it still the current president who will appoint another commissioner.

If Jean Mensah could help the incumbent president win elections, why couldn’t Madam Charlotte Osei do same for National Democratic Congress when it was former president John Dramani Mahama’s time that she was appointed?

This shows it is highly impossible to rig elections in Ghana like the anonymous group are asking for Jean Mensa to be removed.
