Port Elizabeth Man Sentenced To Life In Jail For Raping Estranged Wife
The Port Elizabeth high court on Wednesday condemned a man for assaulting his better half.
Zukile July, 35, was condemned to life detainment for assaulting and sodomizing his then 30-year-old offended spouse on March 30 2018 in Motherwell.
"July and the casualty had separately gone to a family assembling at a relative's home upon the arrival of the episode. After 12 PM the casualty rested in one of the rooms. July called her and requested to join her," said National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) representative Anelisa Ngcakani.
"She concurred and not long after he showed up in the room - got, choked, assaulted and sodomized her. During the ambush he bit her on different pieces of her body to the point of gnawing off a part of her left ear."

In the wake of assaulting the lady, July nodded off. She at that point figured out how to get away and raced to her cousin's home. She was raced to emergency clinic.
July was captured on April 12 2018 by individuals from the PE family viciousness and sexual offenses unit.
"He was condemned to life detainment for three tallies of assault and three years for ambush with plan to do intolerable real damage. The sentences will all run simultaneously," said Ngcakani.
Eastern Cape acting executive of open arraignments Livingstone Sakata invited the sentences.
