Leader of the EFF Julius Malema has given five journalists from different newsrooms or media houses to partake in a interrogative press conference in relation to VBS corruption scandal.

On a thread on Twitter Malema stated his reasons for hosting this conference.

He said: “Following the Press Conference held by NPA, SABC journalist @samkelemaseko asked about investigations regarding me and or the EFF in relation to VBS. This is even though there was no mention of myself or the EFF by NPA.”

“As a result, I challenged @samkelemaseko to gather 5 journalists from different media houses he trusts for a public interrogation session with myself,” he said.

He made it clear that these journalists can ask whatever question they wish, from VBS, bank statements, On Point, and so called collapse of Limpopo.

Malema also mentioned that he had spoken with EFF and requested that Paulie van Wyk (@PaulivW) must also be allowed to form part of this public interrogation session of himself on anything.

vbs looting is not the matter for journalists but the courts. shivambu should form part of that press conference. why the silence? why Eff HQ? they want to intimidate poor journalists. A neutral venue will be beneficial for both parties. why should he decides on the date, venue & time?
