Its looking like Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela will no longer turn out in the Amakhosi colours.

The tricky midfielder, who formerly played for Bloemfontein Celtic, joined Polokwane City on a six-month loan deal in January this year.

This was after he has struggled with injuries and had then been unable to make the breakthrough into Ernst Middendorp's title-chasing Chiefs side once he had recovered.

Speculation has now been mounting as to whether the 29-year-old live-wire winger would stay with Polokwane, or return to the Glamour Boys.

Its the former, according to the player's agent.

"He is continuing with Polokwane. everything is finalized, we are just waiting for the club to make an announcement. I would suggest you speak to the club directly," Tshepo Mabona told KickOff.

Rise and Shine head coach Clinton Larsen was unable to confirm if the move is official, but said he would welcome a player of Mahlasela's caliber.

"...I always try to make an enjoyable atmosphere you know," Larsen said, "a good working atmosphere for the players. And he's enjoyed himself since he arrived here.

"I don't put him under pressure, and players like Kabelo excel in such an environment. I'm expecting very big ambitions from him."

something is very wrong with kaizer chiefs management and it's been going on for years now and it's seems it's there to stay for life I mean the management go all out to get a good player for the team but allows the coach to destroy the very same player they paid a lot of money for him in the name of they don't interfere in the coach selection's of players mazinyo he is worse
