Tito Mboweni allocate R21.5 billion to help with covid-19 expenses.

View pictures in App save up to 80% data. The minister of finance Tito Mboweni was addressing the supplementary budgets today at 15h00. He delivered a large-scale economic relief measures targeted at the most vulnerable areas to fight covid-19.

Lockdown has affected the lives of many public servants of South Africa in different ways. Unemployment is the main issue impacting the lifestyle of people during this pandemic. The measures communicated will also develop the capacity of the public health system to respond to the pandemic.

"The supplementary budget proposes 21.5 billions for covid-19 related health care spending. It also proposes a further allocation of R12.6 billion to services at the frontline of our response to the pandemic."- minister Tito Mboweni

This measure seem not enough to control the whole situation but it is the good step to decrease high risk on hotspot areas. The relief is targeted to ease the panic of South African on surviving this tragic respiratory virus.
