My Story

I had a dream of becoming a photographer. I Wanted to take as many pictures as I can. You know what they say "A picture taken by a real camera has a quality and a a good resolution" than a picture taken by a mobile phone.

Thohoyandou Youths

South Africa youths are facing a challenges of unemployment. However they are doing the best they can to generate income. To better themselves and provide for their needs. The fast growing business arround Thohoyandou is Mall Photography. For R4500.00 you can buy yourself a nice camera Canon EOS 4000D starter and start taking pictures at the malls, schools, Parks etc. You can also advertise your business online on Facebook and WhatsApp other social medias, as well as word of mouth which means you tell other people about it.

If you can charge R10 for a each and every picture you take, you just need 450 customers to payback your experiences and from there you can start making profit.

Unfortunately business like these are facing a very big problem because of COVID-19, many cameramans are beginning to sell their cameras so that they will pay the money they borrowed from other people in order to purchase their camera. The Government might not even consider these small businesses when they give other businesses aids. We know that photography is an individual businesses, they are not registered anywhere they are just a hustle, a good way to help young people make extra money to pay some of their bills. But these are real business.

We do hope that they consider these business as well. When youth are empowering themselves like these, the government should appreciate them. They are fighting against poverty and unemployment, and most of all this business can help reduce criminal activities among the youths.

My story end this way

I will miss you buddy, I had to sell it because I was broke. When lockdown was forcibly implement so as many businesses were forced to shut down for good. People still need some quality pictures but there less the travelling the less cameraman who are hustling in malls, towns, parks, schools and churches can make money.

Maybe oneday I will have enough money to buy a new camera and reopen my photography business.
