This is Kananelo Nthoroane (photo), the owner and founder of Foodspot 100. Kananelo, also known as Refiloe or Kani, is a young entrepreneur from Phuthaditjhaba, QwaQwa, whose aim and purpose are to create a culture for food lovers around Kasi. She is also determined to create a space for food lovers to come together, socialise, and enjoy music while indulging in her mouthwatering recipes.
Foodspot 100 commenced in December 2019. Throughout December, Kananelo was hosting food picnics by setting up furniture with pallets, and providing her clients with mouthwatering platters. Every Sunday she would alternate between potjiekos and fish braai. Foodspot later developed into a daily fast food business. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
Foodspot 100 caters for intimate picnics, family gatherings and other social gatherings of not more than 30 people. However, Kani's goal is to grow and accommodate larger groups such as baby showers, weddings, funerals and other larger events.

With this business, Kani is willing to raise the flag high and put QwaQwa, as well as the rest of the Free State on the map. Furthermore, she is willing to create a space for other local entrepreneurs to showcase and market their work. And this is what I call being innovative.
