After Skeem Sam and Muvhango have recently announced that they will be closing their doors due to corona virus, three more soapies have also announced that they will be closing doors until further notice.

7de Laan Scandal and Rhythm City have announced that they will be shutting their production due to corona virus.

All these of these three soapies are filmed at Sasani Studios, Highlands North in Johannesburg. 7de Laan plays on weekdays on SABC2 then both Rhythm City and scandal play on e.Tv weekdays.

These three became the latest to shut down their productions, after other few soapies have also shut down production.

All the crew members and cast were asked to self isolate and follow precautions while undergoing testing. The studios and offices will be disinfected. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

Thursday e.Tv released a statement to the media stating that positive cases of corona virus have been detected on both Scandal and Rhythm City members. Therefore they will be shutting down production to undergo testing to members who have been exposed to the virus.
