We dont want Jub Jub here
FOLLOWING a meme that has been circulating on social media that Uyajola 9/9 host Jub Jub would be coming to Eswatini for new episodes, Emaswati have expressed differing views over the TV show being hosted in the country.
Uyajola 9/9 is based on the American reality TV show Cheaters. It airs on Sunday evenings with 30-minute episodes played back-to-back on Moja Love 157.
The show starts with the host reading a letter from a complainant and then to visit the complainant to hear their story before investigating. After thorough investigations, the complainant is presented with evidence and the suspect is confronted.
Emaswati do not want the show to be filmed in the country. “I feel like too much drama will unfold, not to say Eswatini cheats but if he really does come, so much will happen. I would be interested in watching those episodes since I want to believe they will be funny and interesting.
Even side chicks will write to him saying they are being cheated on,” said Master Jack when probed on his feelings about the coming of Jub Jub. Popular MC Nicky Mamba said that the country was too small for this kind of drama and everything would be messed up.
However she would enjoy the drama. “I would be more than excited for him to pull through. Some people need discipline, they play too many games even though we are a small country. So I would like him to come and I'll watch the episodes for sure,” said Mamba. DJ Culolam said Jub Jub should not even think about coming to the country.
