Who would have thought that only seven years later Manchester United would have the pleasure of scoring a hat trick once more.

In the Sir Alex ferguson era hat tricks came on a regular for Manchester United, with some very talented and experienced strikers, a time where scoring goals was as easy as taking candy from a baby. Not all games or every season was all loom and gloom but the way the club played back then to how they playing now was extraordinary.

The last time before the latest match, when sir Alex was at his very last with the club 12/13 season, Robin van persie was the last player to score a hat trick in April 2013 against Aston villa, and seven years later with a stunner,Anthony Martial scores a hat trick.

Martial scored his first goal in the 7th minute of the game, he then followed up with a brace in the 44th minute of the game and ended the game off with a hat trick in the 74th minute of the match leading Manchester United to a well deserved win and picking up a crucial 3 points. And celebrating a first hat trick with the club, seven year hat trick drought is over.
